Cocoa Brown The Goddess Collection In-Store Launch

I went along to the Cocoa Brown launch for The Goddess Collection on Tuesday. Last week tickets for the launch went online for free and included a goodie bag. It took place over in Dundrum in Penney's and I went over with my Mam and 3 sisters. I also got to meet the lovely Marissa Carter who is as lovely as she seem on her snapchat and the other ladies from Cocoa Brown who are all so friendly too. It was a really nice atmosphere and I even got a picture with Marissa.

I had never used any of the goddess oils before even though I keep meaning to try one out, so off course I had to get the collection and give them all a go. I can see myself getting a bit addicted to these and walking around like a human disco ball but at least I'll be happy.

In Goddess collection was €13 for 3 30ml bottles, one of each of the shades which are Golden Goddess, Ice Goddess (the newest) and Rose Gold Goddess. I can imagine these being very handy for the christmas season and the even have that gorgeous smell as the other cocoa brown products.

When I registered for my ticket it said I'd get a goodie bag and oh my god was it and amazing goodie bag! In the goodie bag it contained Chocolate Whip Oil-Free body moisturiser 200ml, Kind Shampoo and Conditioner 200ml, Night and Day Tan 150ml can, tough stuff 75ml and last but not least 5oml tube of Bronzing Gel instant tan in matte. How amazing is this goodie bag I've used and loved some of these already but have yet to try the night and day tan and the bronzing gel so now I have no excuse and since my summer tan has completely disappeared now I can see them being tried out pretty soon.

What I love most about all these are that I suffer from eczema and I can use them with out a problem. The Cocoa Brown tan was the first tan that I successfully used and didn't make my skin irritated or make the eczema stand out more. I recently started using the shampoo and conditioner when my hands started to break out again from the changing weather and it doesn't irritate them or sting at all which is fantastic most of the others I've used over the years usually have no fragrance and my hair doesn't last all that long between washes so I've already fallen in love with it and they are all pretty good price wise too and everywhere. If they were to bring out a shower gel I'd be over the moon!

Quick Fix Facials Exfoliating Scrub Mask

This ex-foliating scrub mask is for blackheads and blocked pores which is exactly what I need in a mask. I have used the Quick Fix Facials Moisture Mask before and really like it and still use it so I was interested in trying out more of these masks. I bought this in Boots and costs €6.49.

This is a mask but also a scrub. How you use it is by putting in on damp skin (I did this with a foundation brush) and leave it work it's magic for 5 to 10 mins I left it for ten as I had already tested it on my hand and it didn't have a reaction. Then wet your hands and message it into your problem areas and focus on the nose, forehead and chin. After that you can rinse it off with warm water and pat your skin dry. Testing out masks is really important I think I've said this about a hundred times but I really think it's something you need to do at least then you will know before wrecking your skin.

What it says.
For stubborn and reoccurring blackheads, clogged pores and skin in need of a deep and thorough clean. This is definitely me.
It contains:
Pink rose clay - helps to deep clean and de-congest the skin.
Glycolic acid - extremely effective at balancing out uneven skin tone.
Pomegranate extract - packed with incredible antioxidant and anti-ageing properties to encourage radiant skin.

This was a nice mask to apply it wasn't too thick or too runny and the little exfoliating bits didn't make it difficult to spread. Leaving it for the ten minutes was grand it's not a mask that goes so tight that you can't move your face it just dry a little that all and washing it off was ok. I did feel like it took forever to get it all off though but at least that meant I got a good scrub anyway.

After my skin looked a little brighter and had that really nice soft feeling that you get after a good exfoliation. So overall it has impressed me the skin on my cheeks do be a bit dry and oily at the same time so it kind of builds up there a little and this has left it feeling really soft a little red but that's what happens with these scrubs.

I do have on little thing I didn't like about it and that the smell. It's kind of rosey smelling and it's not terrible but did make my eyes water just a little and it wasn't that close to them. This is mostly down to me though I have really sensitive eyes and lots of things make them water.

For a mask that cost less then €10 it's a good mask that I think used on a regular basis would give a really good result. At the moment this range is buy one get one free so if you wanted to pick one up you can also get another to try out and not have to worry about wasting money if you didn't like it.

Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff Review

First of all I love the smell of this, it just smells fresh and makes me want to use it even more. Secondly I love that it's pink.

This is one of the best product that I have bought in a very long time. The first time I used it I knew I would become obsessed with it. There is definitely no going back now.

It's described as "A no nonsense 3 in 1 body scrub" used to prepare skin for cocoa brown tan, remove stubborn old tan and as a fabulous exfoliating body treatment.

I have used this for all three of these. Using tough stuff before I applied my tan helped my tan develop without any bad patches around dry areas. I struggle with this usually which tend to put me off tanning. As I suffer with eczema and keratosis pilaris (bumpy red skin that can be very rough) on my arms and legs I have been let down by a lot of products that just don't work for me. This is definitely not one of those products. I used it on dry skin the first time and then on wet skin every couple of days since.

I expected good results from the reviews I kept seeing but didn't expect how good the results would actually be, my legs and arms especially have never been so soft. I literally kept telling people to feel how soft my skin was .... Like a weirdo haha.

I used it when my tan was fading to help it as it tends to sick to the insides of my elbows and the back of my knees. Oh and also on my hands and feet. Basically anywhere I tend to have eczema breakouts.

I recommend that anyone who wants supper soft skin and perfect tan should give this ago and the results will speak for themselves. I must pick up a new one to stick in my suitcase to bring with me.
