Pippa palette for Blank Canvas Cosmetics

I was waiting to get this palette for ages. When I went to get it there was none left so I had to wait for more to go on sale. I did get one eventually and I was like a kid at Christmas opening it. I bought it from cloud10beauty and they had 15% off when I went to get it. I love when that happens. The palette is limited edition and made by Pippa O'Conner and Blank Canvas cosmetics. I always love Pippas make up and I love her style so I couldn't wait to get my hand on this and try it out.

The packaging as you can see is gorgeous, girly and pink. The mirror on the inside is a great size as well. The palette has six eye shadows, a highlighter, blusher and contour. I want to start by talking about my favourite of all these and its the highlighter! When I first opened it I couldn't help but swatch it on my hand and the pigment is so nice and a little sparkly, even putting it on feels nice. Where I apply highlighter is usually my driest area and highlighter sometimes just looks powdery there but this just made my cheekbones look so good. It's a perfect in between highlighter by not being to much or too little, it's just the right amount. This from a person that up until a few years ago didn't see why anyone wore highlighter oh how that's changed!

The contour suits me well and as it doesn't have that orange colour that can sometimes be in contours and it's matte. The blush is a nice subtle pink which I find very girly and good for the paler toned girls. The eye shadows are just fantastic and I especially love all the names of these, they obviously had thought put into them and my favourite is the shade called TOBY which I have on today blended in the crease. I also love LILY and DODO too and they all go so well together. My sister has also used it and went for the same colours as I did when I first used it and she loves it too but she may buy her own haha.

Fuschia Dramatise Eyeshadow Palette

I got this eye-shadow palette in a goody bag when I attended the Irish bloggers conference over  month ago. I haven't tried much Fuschia products before except for a cream highlighter that I got at the Irish beauty show a little while ago. I really loved the highlighter and my younger sister uses a lot of their products and always has nice thing to say about them.

Over the last couple of weeks I have tried out the eye shadows and trying out different looks with them. I really love the shades in this, they are perfect match for me and what I would go to first. The packaging is also great not big bulky anything just nice and sleek and a mirror inside. Fantastic.

They are so soft and almost creamy feeling even though there powder. When I first got this and my sister (another one lol) got one too we start testing them on our hand and were amazed by the quality as we didn't know much about the brand. They blend so well and there isn't any fallout from them which is great as there is nothing worse since I leave my eyeshadow till last. I'm always cautious of new eye shadows as I suffer from eczema and it doesn't take much to cause a flare up around my eyes. This however caused no fair up of any sort. I'm really impressed with the quality of this palette and have already looked through their website and made a list of other products I want. I also see myself being very broke lol.

June Favourites

Glam Glow Supermud

I love this mud and I love what it's doing to my skin. My skin has been terrible the past few months and I was dying to try this so when I saw it last month I jumped at the chance of buying it. I use it weekly now and my skin is looking brighter, less clogged up and my pores are finally looking more like I want them to. I thought I would only get a few masks out of it because the jar is so small but it's not like that at all. For one you only need a thin layer and then there's the fact that it spreads really easy so you don't have to use chunks of it at a time. For a product that the price kept putting me off of I'm actually fine with the price now because I'm getting so much out of it. I have done a review of this at the start of June which you can have a read of here.

Fuschia Dramatise Eyeshadow Palette

This palette is great. The shadows are soft and blend really well together. They don't effect my skin at all which is usually why I don't wear eye shadows daily. The packaging is nice a neat with a mirror inside which I love. I have a review of this coming soon so keep an eye out for it.

Victoria's Secret Bombshells in Bloom Body mist

I've had this spray since November and loved wearing it on hot sunny days in Australia but when I came home it was cold and didn't feel the same. It's such a floral smell with notes of pink freesia, red apple and water lilyBut now the weathers has got better I've started to love it all over again and going through it like crazy. Seriously I'm actually counting down the days until my Mam and Sister head over to Scotland this month so they can get me some more in the Airport. Iv'e mad them promise and making a list for them too, I want everything with this smell lol.

Botanics Radiance Balm All Bright

I bought this in Boots a couple of weeks ago now. The first time I used it I love it. It leaves my skin almost glowing and even after putting foundation on it still has a lovely brightness to it. It really lasts under foundation all day and just gives me this nice glow that I think makes my skin look healthy and less dull. I love it and it was under €5 for a 50ml tube which I think might last forever so were can you go wrong. I really recommend this to anyone who wants to brighten up their everyday makeup.

Models prefer. Party Glam shadows palette review.

I bought this eye shadow palette in Priceline while I was in Sydney. It looked good and was only $10. I thought the shades looked like good quality and I was right, I'm actually really impressed with this if not a little obsessed to be honest. I think its the fact that it was only ten dollars that had me shocked. I'm not saying I was expecting to be let down as I've come across great bargain price products that have really impressed me, I just didn't expect it to be this good lol.

I had bought a couple of things from this brand before but hadn't used them all that much which then got me round to trying them and the same thing happened I loved them. It came with a double ended brush aswell and the blending brush end is fantastic its so soft and does a good job of blending.
The shades in this palette are gorgeous and I have tried them all several time and trying them with each other to find some nice ways of wearing them together. But I do have some favourites which are princess, tease and highheels, which is basically the fourth, fifth and sixth in from the left.

Stuff I bought this week

I am supposed to be on a budget and in major saving mode but I sort of went a bit off it this week and bought a few things. In my defense the most expensive thing here that I bought was the pink runners that were a whole €8. Everything else was under €3.50.

The eye shadow brush I got from H&M, It's called smokey eye shadow brush and is double ended. I got around to using it today and I really like it. it blends colours quite well and is very soft. I also bought the glittery nail polish in H&M as well but haven't used it yet but can't wait to I love glitter especially glittery nail polish.

I also picked up a new mascara in Pennys. I got the NYC Big and Bold Volume mascara (the big yellow one). I have heard a lot of good things about this mascara and couldn't wait to get my hands on one but until today I couldn't find one. I now understand why others love it so much, my eyelashes look amazing! They are definitely big and have volume. Think I might pick up another one and put it away as I have a habit of losing mascara and eyeliner.

Again in Pennys I came across a lovely eye shadow palette and eye shadow brush which are part of the P.S Love... collection. The brush is double ended. I'm not a big fan of the brush I have very sensitive skin on my eyelids and found the brush a little rough, but it was only €1.50 so I didn't really expect that much from it. On the other hand I really love the eye shadow palette. It has a few glittery colours such as a shimmery navy  shade and a bronze which I love. I like all the shades in this palette and while trying it out found that they work very well together to create some nice looks.

I got the pink runners in Pennys as well but an very disappointed. I love these little runners that they have and have always bought a size 6 but when I got these home I tried them on and they where tiny! They may have been labeled a six but where more like a 5. I couldn't even get my whole foot into them. This will teach me to try them on in the shop from now on and at least my sister who is a size 5 is very happy with her new pink runners.
