W7 The Cheeky Trio

I have been admiring my sisters one of these for a little while now but just never got around to getting one. Lucky me though because she bought me one as part of my Christmas present.

I had a little go of this the other night when I was going out and it very nice on. The shade of bronzer, blusher and highlighter suit me perfectly and the pink tin they come in is too cute. They are nice subtle shades that I think I will get more use out of on a daily bases. The highlighter is really nice and not too sparkly I love sparkly ones but it's nice to be able to get one thats not going to be seen from a mile away. The blusher is so nice and looks very natural on it's just like a nice glow on my cheeks. The same kinda goes for the bronzer. It's a nice subtle shade nice for daytime but can be built up for a darker night time look. I love lots of contouring for night time looks. There is actually a lot of product in this tin and I think it might take awhile to get thru it so it's great value too.

The shades are Dream Machine (bronzer), 5th Avenue (blusher) and Hot Stuff (highlighter).

Pippa palette for Blank Canvas Cosmetics

I was waiting to get this palette for ages. When I went to get it there was none left so I had to wait for more to go on sale. I did get one eventually and I was like a kid at Christmas opening it. I bought it from cloud10beauty and they had 15% off when I went to get it. I love when that happens. The palette is limited edition and made by Pippa O'Conner and Blank Canvas cosmetics. I always love Pippas make up and I love her style so I couldn't wait to get my hand on this and try it out.

The packaging as you can see is gorgeous, girly and pink. The mirror on the inside is a great size as well. The palette has six eye shadows, a highlighter, blusher and contour. I want to start by talking about my favourite of all these and its the highlighter! When I first opened it I couldn't help but swatch it on my hand and the pigment is so nice and a little sparkly, even putting it on feels nice. Where I apply highlighter is usually my driest area and highlighter sometimes just looks powdery there but this just made my cheekbones look so good. It's a perfect in between highlighter by not being to much or too little, it's just the right amount. This from a person that up until a few years ago didn't see why anyone wore highlighter oh how that's changed!

The contour suits me well and as it doesn't have that orange colour that can sometimes be in contours and it's matte. The blush is a nice subtle pink which I find very girly and good for the paler toned girls. The eye shadows are just fantastic and I especially love all the names of these, they obviously had thought put into them and my favourite is the shade called TOBY which I have on today blended in the crease. I also love LILY and DODO too and they all go so well together. My sister has also used it and went for the same colours as I did when I first used it and she loves it too but she may buy her own haha.

Thanks for reading and don't forget you can follow me on facebooktwitter and bloglovin.

Models prefer. Party Glam shadows palette review.

I bought this eye shadow palette in Priceline while I was in Sydney. It looked good and was only $10. I thought the shades looked like good quality and I was right, I'm actually really impressed with this if not a little obsessed to be honest. I think its the fact that it was only ten dollars that had me shocked. I'm not saying I was expecting to be let down as I've come across great bargain price products that have really impressed me, I just didn't expect it to be this good lol.

I had bought a couple of things from this brand before but hadn't used them all that much which then got me round to trying them and the same thing happened I loved them. It came with a double ended brush aswell and the blending brush end is fantastic its so soft and does a good job of blending.
The shades in this palette are gorgeous and I have tried them all several time and trying them with each other to find some nice ways of wearing them together. But I do have some favourites which are princess, tease and highheels, which is basically the fourth, fifth and sixth in from the left.

Stuff I bought this week

I am supposed to be on a budget and in major saving mode but I sort of went a bit off it this week and bought a few things. In my defense the most expensive thing here that I bought was the pink runners that were a whole €8. Everything else was under €3.50.

The eye shadow brush I got from H&M, It's called smokey eye shadow brush and is double ended. I got around to using it today and I really like it. it blends colours quite well and is very soft. I also bought the glittery nail polish in H&M as well but haven't used it yet but can't wait to I love glitter especially glittery nail polish.

I also picked up a new mascara in Pennys. I got the NYC Big and Bold Volume mascara (the big yellow one). I have heard a lot of good things about this mascara and couldn't wait to get my hands on one but until today I couldn't find one. I now understand why others love it so much, my eyelashes look amazing! They are definitely big and have volume. Think I might pick up another one and put it away as I have a habit of losing mascara and eyeliner.

Again in Pennys I came across a lovely eye shadow palette and eye shadow brush which are part of the P.S Love... collection. The brush is double ended. I'm not a big fan of the brush I have very sensitive skin on my eyelids and found the brush a little rough, but it was only €1.50 so I didn't really expect that much from it. On the other hand I really love the eye shadow palette. It has a few glittery colours such as a shimmery navy  shade and a bronze which I love. I like all the shades in this palette and while trying it out found that they work very well together to create some nice looks.

I got the pink runners in Pennys as well but an very disappointed. I love these little runners that they have and have always bought a size 6 but when I got these home I tried them on and they where tiny! They may have been labeled a six but where more like a 5. I couldn't even get my whole foot into them. This will teach me to try them on in the shop from now on and at least my sister who is a size 5 is very happy with her new pink runners.
