Wasting makeup.

I don't usually like to write posts where I complain about things as I started to blog to share my thought on things I like, but there is something I keep seeing in shops that really irritates me. I am sure I'm not the only one who get annoyed by this so here it is my little rant about people who open make up in shops and use them then put them back on the shelf. Seriously who does this.

Just the other day I was in Penney's (Primark) and was looking at the lip pencils and lipsticks. I found a pencil that I really wanted and a lipstick then I noticed that the lipstick had been used so I picked up another and found the same thing. There where six of this shade on the shelf and they where all opened and used then I noticed the lip pencil had also been tried out was actually broken and so was a few more beside it. It seems like such a waste and I ended up not buying anything because I couldn't find one that was still sealed in those shades.

Really though who does this, I know maybe they wanted to test the shade but it was a bit ridiculous, the self was mainly broken and used products. I have seen this before in other shops too even when there are testers to try. Has anyone else found this too?

  1. you are so right! This is really annoying! I was in a local chemist recently and picked out a lipstick but i didn't check if someone had actually used it! The girl at the counter actually had a look and said it had been used and got me a new one! So happy that she did check as otherwise i would have bought one that someone had used! x

    1. I have made the mistake of not checking myself a few times and it was so disappointing when I got home. That was great that she checked it for you and you didn't have to find out after you bought it. Thanks for the comment :)
